Study Groups
The Association has within its organisation a BAJS Japan Chapter which provides links back to the UK and BAJS for scholars and postgraduate students of Japanese Studies who are currently residing in Japan.
Additionally, there is a UK-Japan Politics Colloquium which brings together teachers and researchers in the field of Japanese politics, political economy, international relations and international political economy.
Also affiliated to BAJS is the Japan Library Group, consisting of members who are librarians at the main teaching centres of Japanese studies in the UK.
There are also a BAJS Teaching Forum and BAJS Postgraduate Network, both of which are not currently being organised. If you would like to organise either of these groups then please contact the BAJS Council.
